Hij heeft ruime ervaring in het veld van de ritme- en geleidingsstoornissen en geeft regelmatig trainingen aan functielaboranten, verpleegkundigen en artsen. Daarnaast geeft hij onderwijs ter voorbereiding voor het Europees EHRA examen en aan de Hogeschool van Amsterdam en is als docent verbonden aan Fysiologic Academy.<\/p><p><strong>Jorn Brouwer<\/strong> <em>(AIOS cardiologie)<\/em> is afgestudeerd aan de universiteit van Utrecht, en volgt zijn opleiding tot cardioloog in het St. Antonius ziekenhuis in Nieuwegein. Hij is gepromoveerd aan de universiteit van Maastricht met onderzoek naar transcatheter aortaklep implantaties. Hij bestudeerde daarbij verschillende aangrijpingspunten om de risico\u2019s van transcatheter aortaklep implantaties te verminderen, waaronder de optimale antistollingstherapie.
